One of my favorite places to walk is in the beech grove forest at Pickering Creek Wildlife Sanctuary outside of Easton, Maryland on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The rich olive-greys of the huge smooth-barked trees and the coppery winter leaves make it a colorful walk. The handmade buttons reflect the yarn colors.
